  • Jeff Cooper

    Dr. Jeff Cooper - Director of Residence Life

    As Director, Jeff has responsibility for the co-curricular experience of the on-campus housing program including residential education, leadership development, policy enforcement, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution. Dr. Cooper also serves as an adjunct professor in the University College where he teaches a first-year seminar course in the fall. He is actively involved in national, regional, and state-level associations related to student affairs and student housing such as NASPA, ACUHO-I, and SEAHO.

    With over 15 years of experience in the field of student housing and residence life administration, Dr. Cooper has served in many roles within public and private institutions. Prior to joining Kennesaw State, Dr. Cooper served as the Director of Residence Life at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. In 2008, Jeff joined KSU as the Associate Director of Residence Life and was selected as KSU’s second Director of Residence Life in 2010.

    Dr. Cooper received a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Georgia, a Master of Education degree in College Student Affairs from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University. 

    Natalie Reckard

    Natalie Reckard - Associate Director for Residential Living

    Natalie is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at the University of Georgia and she hopes to graduate in December 2017. Natalie's research interest include supervision, staff development and diversity and inclusion. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her two fur-children, Sadie and Charley, her family and friends. She likes running and recently completed a marathon.  

    Kim Hoover

    Kim Hoover - Associate Director for Residential Education

    Kim is excited to join the KSU Residence Life team with more than 15 years of experience, living her passion to empower students to grow and develop into the people they seek to become. She has a MBA and a Master of Science in Decision Sciences from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Along with her partner Ryan, she raises two wonderful kids and serves as a foster home for many others. Kim enjoys all things Harry Potter, Disney, theatre, music, and on evenings and weekends she can be found practicing and competing in Taekwondo with her family.

    Justin Koonz

    Justin Koonz - Assistant Director for Operations and Outreach

    Justin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Sacred Heart University and a Master of Business degree in Managerial Leadership from Piedmont College. This is his 9th year at KSU and he is the Chair for the ACUHO-I Business Operations conference in 2017. He loves bowling, crossfit, photography and his wife Tonya and daughters Teagan and Brevyn.

    Leah Mullins

    Leah Mullins - Business Manager

    This is Leah's second year in Residence Life at KSU. Leah has a Bachelor of Art degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Northwest University and a Master of Business degree in Management from California State University, Stanislaus. Leah loves adventuring with her two kids, DIY projects, spontaneous road trips, finding hole-in-the-wall places (restaurants, coffee shops, music venues, etc.) to hang out, and is obsessed with all things coffee.

    Tasha Rogerson

    Tasha Rogerson - Office Manager

    Tasha has worked as an office manager in the residence life department since 2014. She has earned a few diplomas and a degree in Art and Writing. She has lived in, worked in, and visited various places in the United States and Europe. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, arts & crafts, movies, reading and writing books.

        Allie Wright

        Allie has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Quinnipiac University, and a Master of Science in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University. This is her third year at Kennesaw State University. In her free time, she loves kayaking, going to concerts, and playing with her dog, Tackleberry.

        Residence Director - Austin Residence Complex Phase I

        Jasmine graduated from Kennesaw State University in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. This is Jasmine’s second year as a Residence Director. She previously worked for the department for three years as a Resident Assistant. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education. Jasmine is hoping to begin a graduate program this fall. She loves to read romance novels, watch movies, and cook delicious foods.

        Katariena Golluscio has a Bachelor's degree in Business and Technology Management from The State University of New York at Delhi. This is her second year at Kennesaw State University. She enjoys golfing, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

        Brandon Woodmancy

        Brandon has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and English and a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He is the lead advisor of the Residence Hall Association on campus. As an avid food connoisseur, Brandon loves to try all different types of food in the Atlanta area. When he isn't eating he is watching T.V. or running around Marietta.

        Residence Director - Commons

        Chris spent three years as a Resident Assistant at Kennesaw State University before graduating with a Bachelor's degree in International Business and a Minor in Spanish. Post-graduation, Chris is now in his first year as a Residence Director and has plans to begin his Master's program in 2018. Apart from work, Chris enjoys spending time with friends, playing soccer, serving at a local church, and playing guitar and singing.

        Erin completed her undergraduate studies at Georgia Gwinnett College where she earned a Bachelor degree in Business Management and a minor in Sociology. At her previous institution she was involved in various departments of Student Affairs such as: Student Involvement, Residence Life, Peer Health Education, and Orientation. In her free time, Erin enjoys cooking, watching her favorite Netflix shows, and dancing. This is Erin's first year at Kennesaw State University and she is excited to be an Owl!

        Jake is from Fairbanks, AK. He began working at Kennesaw State University the Fall of 2014 and has recently begun to pursue his Masters of Public Administration here at Kennesaw State University.

        Christina has a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology with a Minor in Music and a Master of Education in College Student Personnel Administration from University of West Florida. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Student Affairs Leadership at University of Georgia. This is her 4th year here at Kennesaw State University and is involved in the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). She loves watching movies, reading, exploring different eateries, her husband Bence, and fur-baby Astrid.

        Mattie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Shenandoah University. She has 4 years of Residence Life experience and this is her 2nd year at KSU. She loves cooking/baking, reading, and running in her spare time.

        Courtnae completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama. She received a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice with a double minor in Political Science and Civic Engagement & Leadership. While at the University of Alabama, Courtnae was a part of the Housing and Residential Communities team for 3 and a half years. In her free time, Courtnae enjoys singing, reading/writing, and all outdoor activities.

      • Erica Moore

        Erica earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Hospitality Management from the University of South Carolina in Beaufort. She also completed her graduate studies at North Carolina State University where she received a Master in Education degree in Higher Education Administration. In her spare time, she enjoys cheesy jokes and puns, going to the beach, and watching superhero movies and tv shows.

        Shawn Kelley is originally from Dickson, TN and is a recent graduate from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. This is Shawn’s first year as a Residence Director at Kennesaw State. In his free time, he loves to watch sports and explore his new home.

        Jalesha is a recent graduate from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a Minor in Leadership Studies. As a second year Owl, she is excited about continuing her involvement in Owl Nation to fulfill her dreams as a professional in student affairs. Before KSU, Jalesha was involved in welcome week, orientation, multicultural student life, residence life, and much more in Knoxville at the University of Tennessee. She is obsessed with reality tv, music, go-karts, food, and road trips. Most of her time outside of work is spent with family and friends both far and near.





      • Phillip Sullivan

        Phillip Sullivan

        Phillip completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at The University of Alabama, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Sciences, and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration. At his previous institution, he enjoyed being involved in multiple facets of student affairs, such as: residence life, fraternity and sorority life, career services, and student conduct. In his spare time, Phillip enjoys doing outdoorsy activities, attending professional conferences, spending time with friends and family, and being an active member of his fraternity. He is also an animal lover. This is Phillip's 2nd year at KSU and he is excited to be a part of the Owl family.

      • Sameera Yusuf

        Residence Director - KSU Place

        Sameera joined the Residence Life team during the summer of 2015. Prior to coming to KSU, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Religious Studies from Mercer University and recently began pursuing a Masters in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University. Sameera also serves as the RHA advisor for the Kennesaw campus. Outside of her love for Student Affairs, Sameera is an avid Harry Potter and Atlanta Hawks fan.

        Alli is a first year Residence Director from Wasilla, Alaska. She earned her Bachelors degree in Media Arts from the University of Montana where she was a Resident Assistant for two years and a Community Development Coordinator in her final year. With any free time she has Alli likes to make films, jokes, and macaroni and cheese.

        Grant is a recent graduate of the University of North Georgia where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. In his spare time, Grant enjoys playing golf, going to sporting events, watching movies, doing outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking, and spending time with friends and family. This will be Grant’s 1st year at KSU and he is looking forward to all of the new experiences at Kennesaw.

    Zach Auzenne - Graphic Design Intern

    Zachary is a Senior at Kennesaw State University, working towards his degree in Software Engineering while also pursuing his passion for graphic design. He is a volunteer at several local churches, writes/designs for the KSU Magazine, The Peak, and also takes on the occasional freelance design job.

    Reagan Langston - Public Relations Intern

    Reagan is a senior at Kennesaw State University working towards her degree in Graphic Communications with a minor in Marketing. She is very active in Kennesaw State University's chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity as well as KSU Miracle, a philanthropy group on campus benefitting Children's Miracle Network and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
