12-Month Agreement Defined
A "12-Month" License Agreement is available for the following communities: Austin Residence Complex I, Austin Residence Complex II, University Columns, University Commons and University Courtyard. A 12-Month License Agreement covers housing for fall, spring and summer semesters within a given academic year. A student on a 12-Month Agreement would move in during our Move-In weekend in August and would move out after final exams in July. A 12-Month Agreement does not grant the student twelve months of housing from the date the Agreement is signed. Students must move out of their assignment by the move-out date given in late July.

A 10-Month License Agreement covers housing for fall and spring semesters within a given academic year. A student with a 10-Month License Agreement would move in during our Move-In weekend in August and would move out after final exams in May. A 10-Month Agreement does not grant the student ten months of housing from the date the Agreement is signed. Students must move out of their assignment by the move-out date given in early May.
Payment by Semester or with a Payment Plan
We bill for our housing by the semester. The entire semester installment is charged to the student for fall, spring and summer semesters depending on the type of Agreement signed (10- or 12-month). Payment is due in full by the payment deadline as established by Kennesaw State University. If you are unable to pay in full by the payment deadline, there are payment plans available to you. However, please understand, payment plans are granted as a convenience to those families who need it. We also offer an option to split the payment over the course of several months. Payments made in the final month of each semester do not grant the student housing for that entire month. For example, a student on a 10-month agreement who makes their final installment payment in May must still move out of housing by the end of their agreement (24 hours after the last final exam for spring semester).
More information about how to request a Payment Plan will be available mid-June.
